Volleyball Districts Preview

The Redwing Varsity Volleyball team takes on the Grand Ledge Comets today in the Semi Finals of the District Tournament. These teams faced each other twice already this season, with the Redwings taking both matches. During a dual match on September 29th the Redwings won a non conference match, 3 sets to 1 (25-18/ 23-25/ 25-19/ 26-24). More recently, they met in the Redwing Quad Tournament at SJHS on October 10th. The Redwings came away with the win again, 2 sets to 1 (25-12/ 24-26/ 25-17). The Redwings are looking for the sweep to advance to the District Final. They would take on the winner of the first game tonight in the Haslett vs DeWitt matchup. Good Luck Redwings!
