The Redwing varsity cheer team traveled to Charlotte tonight for the first league competition of the season.  Although it looks like they have been positioned in the toughest division, if they continue to improve at this pace, it should be fun to see how they stack up at the end of the season.  Go Redwings!

CAAC Competitive Cheer (varsity) will be conducted in two Divisions for the 2020-21 season as follows:

Red Division – Charlotte, DeWitt, Mason, Grand Ledge, St. Johns, Waverly

White Division – Portland, Holt, Fowlerville, Eaton Rapids, Lansing Catholic

Wednesday, Jan. 19 – Red Division at Charlotte

Redwing Scores:
Round 1 202.6
Round 2 185.32
Round 3 216.40 after 16 points in penalties
Total of 604.32
35 point improvement from last competition.

“First league is in the books. We showed up and the goal was the hang with some big contenders and we did just that. The team is hungry for more and we will not let this competition define us.” Head Coach Shepard
