The final standings do not accurately reflect the impressive day the Redwing swimmers had on Saturday.  This is a team of only 10 swimmers, with only one Senior.  It was never going to be about the final standings, it was going to be about the improvement they could make in their times.  It was going to be about if their coaches, in their first year with the team, could get them ready without enough training time in a shortened season.  If you pay attention to the red numbers below (time improvements) you will see it was a “mission accomplished” type of day.  As fun as this meet was to watch, the anticipation of how strong they will be next year is the most exciting part.  Congratulations and Go Redwings!
