The Redwing varsity baseball team is one of ten invited to the Dean Shippey Capital Diamond Classic! Ten teams are invited to compete in “Mid-Michigan’s Premier High School Baseball Tournament”. The rest of the field will include Holt, Mason, Dewitt, Pewamo-Westphalia, Okemos, Eaton Rapids, Portland, Grand Ledge and the Redwings opening opponent, Lansing Catholic.
The Redwings will take on Lansing Catholic on Tuesday (5/24) at 5pm. The game will take place at MSU’s 2500 seat McLane Stadium. The team is riding a 12 game winning streak and are 19-3 overall. The CAAC Champions are set to take on Eaton Rapids Thursday at home, with Districts scheduled for June 4th. Go Redwings!
