“The St. Johns U10 Tournament team traveled to Hartland for their Haunted Invitational hosted by Liverpool FC. The boys did an exceptional job throughout the tournament with some amazing highlights, including the save of the year by Tyler Fillwock, the best long ball assist by Freddy Martinez, and many more.
The boys were led again with great midfield play and leadership from Ethan Lowell and Luke Pelletier. Outstanding hustle and intelligence from our youngsters Ezra Hicks, Bransen Glynn, and Cruze Eiseler helped frustrate the other team and bury goals for us. Another youngster helping out our St.Johns crew was Fitz Azuh who was dominate in transition and helped maintain the ball up front for us. Finally, Jacob Goodman, claiming the tournament winning goal in double overtime for St.Johns causing the crowd to roar! St.Johns beat Liverpool 1-0 for the title.
Every young man on this team excelled over the 4-game tournament vaulting them to a championship victory. This continues the U 10 undefeated play this fall for St. Johns as they look to finish strong in their remaining 2 games. Great work boys!!” #RedwingCoachSubmitted
