“On July 21st seven local St. Johns girls earned the opportunity to play for the National Title in their age group.  Abby Tisdale playing for the Owosso Hit and Pitch 12u club team.  Which on 6-20-21 finished as State Champions in their Bracket.  Karissa Greider, Madison “The Cobra” Helms, Kennedy Larrison, Kate Patterson, Bella Sharrick and Laila Wright earned their invite playing for the Owosso Hit and Pitch 14u club team.  They finished the weekend by taking 2nd place in the State.  During the past weekend they all played teams from the entire state eventually leading to their divisions state championship games.  The NSA world series will be held in July in Indiana.  This is the second year in a row that Greider, Helms, Larrison, Patterson and Sharrick have earned their way to the NSA World Series.
