What was the key to your success in this contest/ or what needs to improve for success in future contests?

The key to our success was wanting the win more than the other team. We all wanted to beat this team so badly that we earned it and fought hard to earn the win.

What does your team do well that helps you succeed as a group?

My team does a good job of communication. We have been talking more in the field than we ever have before, which has been huge in our results at the end of our games.

Which team is up next and what do you think is the key for your team/ yourself to achieve the desired outcome?

The team that is up next is the DeWitt Panthers. They are most likely going to be a hard team to beat and a difficult rivalry to win. We want to walk away from there with another win under our belts. I believe that the key for us to pull away with a win is communication and possession. If we can talk the way we have been recently and possess the ball away from our opponents, we can walk away satisfied with our results.

What individual and team goals do you have for the rest of the season?

I would say that our biggest goal, and this goes for me individually too, is to improve and prepare ourselves for the rest of our high school soccer years ahead of us. We need to be the best we can be in preparation for our future years.

Is there anything else you’d like us to share?

There’s no way I could be where I am right now without my amazing coach and teammates.

Bits O’ Tid By Dan Ward

Bits O’ Tid By Dan Ward There wasn’t a whole lot happening on the wrestling front this week. St. Johns hosted a JV Jamboree, and the varsity boys made a road trip to Three Rivers. With a slightly lighter schedule, I thought it would be fun to share some interesting wrestling trivia—facts that I definitely…
