After a year with no youth football, it was great to have the Redwings back at it at home!
The 5th grade SJYAA team took on Grand Ledge and was down 8-12, but a forced turnover and touchdown return put the Redwings ahead 14-12 with less than a minute to play. On the very next possession, the defense forced another interception that sealed the game.
The 6th grade team took on Dewitt and trailed 16-8 at the half, but it was all Redwings in the 2nd half. Three more touchdowns propelled the team to a 30-16 victory and they’re now 3-0 on the season! Go Redwings!
