Capital City Capitals vs Kalamazoo Eagles
The Capitals fell behind 1-0 early in the first, but tied it up with a goal from #20 Bjorne Griffin (Dewitt) with about a minute left in the period. A Goal in the second period from #16 Ethan Bond (Dewitt) put the Caps up 2-1. Redwing Logan Dunham #24 (St. Johns) scored for the Capitals to put them 3-1. The period ended 3-2 with a late goal from the Eagles.
Early in the 3rd the Eagles tied it at 3, but it was all Capitals after that. #8 Brendan Melling (LCHS) scored the go ahead goal (4-3) and Redwing junior #5 Logan Johnson (St. Johns) added the final goal. #30 Janek Levandowski (LCHS) with the win in goal.
